My Story

Taking on the London to Paris bike ride is a significant physical and mental challenge, pushing me far beyond my comfort zone over several days of long-distance cycling. As Head of Optometry of Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, I wanted to set myself a goal that reflects the dedication, resilience and determination I see every day in my colleagues and in our patients. This challenge is not just about the miles covered, but about perseverance, teamwork and commitment to a cause that truly matters to me. By undertaking such a demanding journey, I hope to raise vital funds and awareness for the exceptional care, research and innovation delivered at Moorfields, while showing my support for the Trust and the people it serves.
